We once again had a fun easter at Grandma and Pa Andersons. We had all the cousins there except Gavin (who was missed). Casey and Brant took all the kids for a jeep ride while the easter bunny hid all the eggs and treats at Grandma Merlenes. Gage wasn't sure what it was all about all he wanted in his basket was the rocks and his suckers. I kept trying to put eggs in his basket and he kept throwing them out. After it was all over Casey came over with his pocket full of candy,eggs,and bubbles. He had as much fun as the kids. It was a bitter sweet moment to be at Grandma Merlenes because she passed away about a month ago. She was such an amazing woman. I will never forget the first time I met her. Her glow radiated and you could feel the love she had for her family and for life. It is still hard to think of her being gone but we are so blessed to have the knowledge that we will be able to see her again. It is so fun to think that she is now with Grandpa again. He passed away many years ago and she raised 4 kids all alone. She is an amazing woman.

I can't even imagine raising three children all on my own. It is so bitter sweet to loose a loved one. I love that Gage was busy collecting rocks.
