Christmas

We went up the canyon after opening presents. Gage loved the snowmobile just like the 4-wheeler. He hated getting down in the snow and sledding but loved to ride with dad. Rylie,Grandpa and I built a snow track to keep everyone from running into the rocks. Kaylie, Laurie and I built a snowman. Madi loved the sledding hill. Grandma took pictures. Casey took me for a ride of my life on the snowmobile and then tried to get Grandma on but she said no way. She learned her lesson last year.

Gage was not into opening the presents as much as last year but still did it. It is a lot more fun to watch them open them then to open your own.

He was scared of Santa this year but I really can't blame him this santa looked a little scary. I think he needed a haircut but couldn't get an appointment. I don't remember the last time I sat on santas lap.

Gage loved the pinata at Grandma Merlenes'. He would hit it and then say Wow! He also got his first ice cream cone. I can't even begin to explain the mess that came with that but it was Christmas.

We had a hard time thinking of something to get him and when I saw this I knew it was going to be a hit. Gage tries to ride everything big or small so I knew he would love it and I was right.

We exchange white elephant gifts every year and this is Santas' 2nd appearance. He sings a Christmas song and then does this. We laughed just as hard this year as last.

This was Heathers gift. I'm sure some of you saw the email with these on it but Laurie loved it so much she made a pair and decided to share them. They fit Heather perfect. Again we had a good laugh. Way to use your resources Laurie!!

Christmas dinner was once again a good one. Gage made himself right at home at the kids table. He and Malia enjoyed chips for dinner. It's so fun to get together even when it gets wild and crazy with all the kids.

Grandpa told the Christmas story and the kids knew all the answers to his questions so your doing a good job Laurie, Brant, and Rachelle. Thanks Grandma and Pa for another good Christmas.
