Anderson Reunion 2008

We went to Jordanelle and it was cold. The water was 69 degrees and the wind blew almost all day. It didn't keep Dillan and Rylee out of the water and Aunt Rachelle got wet but not by choice. Uncle Carl decided he was going to throw her in. I don't think he was planning on going in himself but it turned out that way.
Casey took Gage on his first Jet ski ride. He is so much like his dad in that way. He loves to go on any sort of toy. He just sat there as good as could be and almost fell asleep by the time they got back. I love my boys!
Gage and Malia became best friends this time. They followed eachother around and kissed eachother the whole time. The older boys started saying they were boyfriend and girlfriend because they kept kissing. It will be fun to watch them grow up together. On Sunday we were packing up to go home and Gage and Malia were nowhere to be found. I kindof started to panic. I looked outside, downstairs, and upstairs and I couldn't find them so I started yelling Gages name. I heard a laugh in the master bathroom. They had crawled up on the step infront of the bathtub and turned on the water. They were both just jabbering away to eachother. We all had a good laugh.
Ok here they all are top to bottom. Top- Brennen,Kyler,Maddie. Middle- Rylee & Dillan. Bottom-Kaylee holding Gavin,Malia & Gage.
We borrowed the lifejacket from Hal and Denise so it was a little big but still cute. The first time we put it on Gage he hated it and pulled on it until I took it off. But once he saw the jet skis outside and I told him he had to wear his lifejacket before could ride them he had no problem. He is getting so big and it amazes me how much he comprehends now. The other day we were getting ready for church and I told him to go get his church shoes and he came back with his sandels. I told him to go get his new shoes and he took off to the door and came back with his new shoes and a big smile.
Grandpa made marshmellow shooters for all of us. They were a big hit. They brought stuff to paint and decorate them but the kids wouldn't stop playing with them long enough to do it. Grandpa made his a little more detailed because he needed a little help seeing long distances. HA HA HA
I taught all the adults how to play moose moose. For those who do know how to play you are each an animal with a sign. You have to do your sign and noise then pass it to someone else by doing their noise and sign. Grandma and Grandpa had a hard time getting it right. As the picture shows Grandpa was the Pig.
The boys figured out that if you blew into the guns they sounded like and elk call. It didn't take Gage very long to copy them. He just had fun making noise with it. Thanks Grandpa for being such a good Grandpa and always playing and enjoying the grandkids.
Gage enjoyed his first real peice of licorice. As you can see he loved it and it wore him right out.
